Empowering students to Impact communities through developer skills!
What is Developer Student Club?
Developer Student Clubs (DSC) is a Google Developers program for university students to learn mobile and web development skills. This program is implemented in universities through a Student Lead of the University, who will be in touch with Google Developers.
These DSCs provide students with the opportunity to:
- Grow their knowledge on developer technologies and more through peer to peer workshops and events.
- Gain relevant industry experience by solving problems for local organizations with technology based solutions.
- Showcase their prototypes and solutions to their local community and industry leaders.
Google does not own or manage DSCs. They are a communities that are open to any student, ranging from novice developers (who are just starting out) to advanced developers (who want to further their skills) and other academic disciplines.
OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE IMPACT.
IMPACT STUDENTS, AND EMPOWER THEM TO IMPACT
THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH TECHNOLOGY.

More about Developer Student Clubs
DSC launched in 2017 as a pilot in India to help solve the challenges university graduates were facing securing employment in the tech industry. We aimed to provide students with the resources, opportunities and, experience necessary to be industry ready, all while still pursuing their degrees.
Since then, the program has grown globally. To India, Indonesia and Sub Saharan Africa. DSCs are training thousands of student developers ( around 60k+ so far) and working with their communities to solve real-life problems- Check out some of our stories to learn more. We are in 306 universities across 12 countries - browse our directory to see where we are!
